The Greenock ARTS Guild Sound Information

Sound reproduction in the Theatre consists of the following

Mixer -Peavey S.R.C 16/4/2

Each channel has input gain, 3 band E.Q. with sweepable mid band , aux send, 2 x effects send, pan control and 100mm fader. Each channel may be routed to pre-fade listen {PFL}, sub-group 1-2 and or sub-group3-4. Sub roup 1-2 may be used to send direct to stage monitors. This allows the facility for sound effects to be sent to an part of the stage whilst still haing individial control,
Aux send may also be used to send to stage monitors. This facility is used when monitoring musicians or singers.

Mic Connecting

There are 16 Microphone inputs, 8 on the front Prompt Corner and 8 on the front O.Prompt Corner

General

Music and effects are normally operated from within the Control Room. The output of the amplifiers are switchable to any combination of the four loud speakers. The Front of House Speakers are fixed to the wall facing the auditorium whilst the back stage monitors can be moved to any position around the stage.
